People magazine's" Most Wanted Man" of 2013 actor Ryan Gosling will be taking a break from acting.
Ryan Gosling said he's taking a break from acting, adding, "I’ve been doing it too much. I’ve lost perspective on what I’m doing. I think it’s good for me to take a break and reassess why I’m doing it and how I’m doing it. And I think this is probably a good way to learn about that. I need a break from myself as much as I imagine the audience does."
Ryan Gosling will be behind the camera as he directs "How to Catch a Monster" in May. Before Gosling takes a break from being on-screen, he will star in 2 new movies. The first is "The Place Beyond the Pines," which opens in movie theaters March 29. He co-stars with his girlfriend Eva Mendes and plays a tattooed motorbike cyclist in a taking a trip circus.
Gosling will also star in a retribution drama this May called "Only God Forgives," where he plays a guy who's been living in exile in Bangkok for the previous 10 years after killing a cop.
