Celebrities tweet their feelings on Chris Brown appearing at the Grammys
Social media site Twitter was buzzing during Chris Brown's performance at the Grammy Awards.
A number of celebrities took to their Twitter pages to share their feelings on Brown being invited back and performing at the awards ceremony.
Singer Michelle Branch tweeted, "Trying not to go off on a rant but…Chris Brown…*bites tongue* have we forgiven him? #Grammys."
Branch had been tweeting throughout the Grammy's.
Country singer Miranda Lambert did not hold back her anger. She made her feelings very clear and was not subtle at all.
Lambert tweeted, "How dang long did they give Nicki Minaj to do whatever that was?" she tweeted yesterday, after taking time to absorb the events of the previous night. "Strange. And Chris Brown twice? I don't get it. He beat on a girl…"
She then went on to add, "Not cool that we act like that didn't happen. He needs to listen to Gunpowder and lead and be put back in his place. Not at the Grammys."
"Gunpowder and Lead" is in reference to her 2007 song which is about a woman preparing to kill an abusive husband.
Actor Wil Wheaton was not happy either, tweeting, "Everyone who apparently forgot what Chris Brown did to Rhianna should read the police report on exactly what he did."
During the Grammys and Brown's performance, "wife beater" was a trending topic. Celebrities especially continued to not cut Brown any slack.
